Palabora Copper invites unemployed students to apply for Learnership Programme 2023 / 2024.

Palabora Copper (Pty) Ltd hereby invites Ba-Phalaborwa Communities to apply for Work Integrated Learning Opportunity. The opportunity is aimed at supporting students from TVET Colleges with work experience required to attain their National Diploma. Successful candidates will enter 18-months Work Integrated Learning contract with Palabora Copper.
Work Integrated Learning Opportunities are available in the following disciplines
- Fitting and Turning / Machining
- Instrumentation and Process Control
Selection and qualifying criteria:
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Must have completed all N6 subjects.
- Must be between 18 – 35 years old with no criminal record.
- Currently unemployed and have never embarked on Work Integrated Learning Opportunity before
Documents to be submitted
- Cover Page
- Curriculum Vitae
- Certified copy of full academic record
- Certified copy of matric certificate
- Certified copy of a South African ID
- Confirmation letter from institution
- Proof of residential address for Ba-Phalaborwa communities (i.e. Maseke, Lulekani, Makhushane, Namakgale, Benfarm, Selwane, Mashishimale and Phalaborwa Town) e, g Municipal letter or Tribal Authority letter, certified by a commissioner of Oaths
Additional information:
- This is a training opportunity and Palabora Copper will not be obliged to offer permanent job to the candidates upon successful completion of the program
- Short-listed applicants may be required to undergo psychometric / pre-screening assessments and interviews
